This book is a real story about an attempt that has been a long and difficult struggle to improve one important aspect of life in the human society. What is quite particular and interesting is that everything is told and accurately expressed not by human beings, but by bicycles. In this story, the bicycles can think, and think well, can talk among themselves, have a sharp sense of observation and they are watching carefully the human beings and the many aspects of their society with the objectivity and impartiality, which only an observer from outside of the human species can have.

Being close to the reality of the everyday life of the human beings as a means of transportation but being not responsible for the human beings actions and the respective consequences and, as bicycles, not accountable for their opinions to any human authority, the bicycles do not have any fears or concerns in expressing their opinions freely without any restrictions, with total openness, sincerity and objectivity, regardless of the position of the person they are talking about or the subject or the situation they are presenting or discussing. The fears and reservations the human beings have in this regard, are totally strange to them.

The initial subject of discussion at the first bicycle reunion is the true story about the development and promotion of an original, visionary and sustainable concept for the radical improvement of urban transportation by implementing a system of expressways exclusively for bicycles, elevated above the street level, covered and without uphill slopes,wich will create exellent conditions of safety and convenience for the mass use of bicycles. This will tremendously reduce the dependency of cars, the traffic congestion, the air pollution, the number of traffic accidents, the waste of precious time and will increase the general level of health at the same time with significant economic advantages.

All the promotional actions by the engineer, author of the concept, as meetings with various officials, authorities and personalities, presentations at International Conferences and Seminars, articles in the major newspapers, and other publications in several countries, interviews by the major Radio and TV networks, received letters of support as well as setbacks and negative attitudes at some contacted organizations are real and truthfully related.
